Asia-Miles Calculator Guide
With the Asia-Miles Calculator, you can quickly estimate the Asia Miles required for your itinerary. The tool supports the latest redemption rates for Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.
How to Use
- In “Segment 1”, choose the departure, destination, and cabin class. If you need a connection or a return segment, fill in the corresponding information in “Segment 2”.
- Click “Calculate” to instantly obtain the flight distance and miles required for each segment.
- If the result contains only Cathay Pacific flights, you can use the date selector to check award seat availability.
Rules
- Domestic round-trips cannot connect internationally: If the origin and final destination are in the same country/region, the connecting airport must also be within that country/region; otherwise the itinerary will be rejected.
- Connection time limit: Connections on Cathay Pacific cannot exceed 24 hours, otherwise they may be treated as two separate itineraries.
- Mileage calculation standards:
- If both flight segments are operated by Cathay Pacific, the mileage will be calculated according to 'Cathay Only'.
- If either segment is operated by a Oneworld partner airline, the mileage will be calculated according to 'OW partner'.
- For flights involving other partner airlines (such as Air China), 'Airline Partners' charts will apply (specific rules may vary).
For mixed cabin itineraries (such as one segment in Economy and another in Business Class), you may search online for detailed guides on optimal redemption strategies. After finding available flights, please contact Asia Miles customer service to complete your ticket issuance.
